Heroes Never Die // 067
On the afternoon of October 24th, 2015, 32-year-old Nick Clavier was driving down Hull Road in Chesterfield, Virginia with his four children. They had planned to go fishing at a nearby pond, before returning home for a family movie night while his wife Melody was out of town. But on the drive, something happened leading Nick’s vehicle to go over an embankment where it eventually crashed into a tree. Though the children were not harmed in the accident, Nick suffered a considerable amount of head trauma. When police arrived on scene, they located a firearm on the driver’s side floorboard, leading law enforcement to question if Nick had potentially shot himself. But years later, the truth would finally be revealed…
Special thank you to Melody Clavier-Weston and Laura French for their contributions to this episode.
